Teacher’s Pet

We’re back to school this September and it seems like Cherish is the teacher’s pet already! We have been selected by two amazing education businesses to handle their PR.

First-up is the incredibly innovative Tutorful, an online platform that helps anyone find their perfect tutor so they can achieve their learning goals.

Founders and long-time friends Mark Hughes, a technology analyst and Scott Woodley, a teacher, created Tutorful in 2015 with the aim of bringing all the best tutors together in one place, helping anyone to find the perfect tutor for them. Fast forward to 2021 and Tutorful is the UK’s leading marketplace for in-person and online tutoring.

We’ve already hit the ground running with some amazing coverage in the likes of the Daily Mail and the Daily Express with more on its way.

Joining Tutorful in the Cherish PR classroom is The Rocksteady Music School. Founded in 2007, Rocksteady has delivered hundreds of thousands of free music experiences to 4-11-year-olds, as well as regularly teaching tens of thousands of children each week. We are helping Rocksteady launch a whole new and very exciting side to their business which will foster kids’ love of music even more. Watch this space for news over the coming days.

Finally, we’re also really proud to be helping London kids through our partnership with London’s The Toy Project on behalf of our client Attic Self Storage. With 38 per cent* of children in the capital living in relative poverty, Attic is encouraging Londoners to dig deep and help old toys find a new home with the children who need them most by setting up FREE weekly collections around their sites across London. The Toy Project, based in Archway, North London, has recently attracted donations from the likes of This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes and Celebrity TV Chef Gok Wan, delivering toys to hospital wards, children of NHS workers, children with families shielding at home and families living in hostels.

So it’s back to school with a bang this September and it looks like it’s going to be a busy term ahead!
