Laundrapp: UK PR campaign to deliver international awareness

THE CHALLENGE

Laundry collection and delivery service, Laundrapp wanted to license its services internationally. The business was approaching a new funding round and it was important that we communicated the potential scale and opportunity that Laundrapp presented in order to interest future international partners and investors. We got to work, considering how powerful UK PR can deliver international awareness and direct business outcomes.

OUR APPROACH

We proposed a narrative that focused on how clothes washing and dry cleaning is a universal chore that is handled differently in nearly every continent worldwide.

We then layered in how this successful London start-up was on a mission to make it easier for all countries to tackle their wash loads, irrespective of how you keep your clothes clean.

Working with Laundrapp’s charismatic CEO, we developed the story, and determined the potential scale of growth by setting milestones for Laundrapp’s international expansion.

To reach international audiences, we set our sights on TV, approaching global TV channels delivering business audiences.

RESULTS

Our media coverage resulted in multiple awards for this young and ambitious tech startup, but more importantly generated in-bound enquiries from investors and introduced new international partners, enabling Laundrapp to achieve its business goals.
